In organization with badminton club TVS-Sulka, we have had a Vision Training Workshop for tennis and badminton coaches 28th of April in Turku, Finland!

The topics we have worked on during our vision training workshop were:

  • Vision training – perspectives of visual system
  • Visual skills
  • Types of eye movements and their functions
  • Visual input processing
  • Speed of information processing
  • Cognitive training
  • Practical application of vision training in sport

Vision training in sport works specifically on improving the visual abilities of an athlete that are most needed for excellence in their sport.

It’s very important to understand that vision and eyesight are not the same thing!

Considering the fact that between half and two-thirds of the brain is used for visual processing, we get the starting idea about the importance of visual system!

If you would like to hire me for lecturing about vision training, please feel free to contact me!
