Positioning

Shots from 6 meters line come in a much bigger speed, they are more powerful, and therefore – goalkeeper’s reaction needs to be more powerful, faster.
So, before you start working on saves of high shots from 6m with your goalkeepers, you should first work on saves of high shots from 9m. You need to get them to perform proper basic technique for saves of shots from 9 meters, and then it will be easier for them to work on saves of shots from 6 meters. Once when they are familiar with correct basic technique for saves of high shots from 9 meters, it will be easy to implement step forward which is important for shortening an angle when attempting to save shots from 6 meters line.
