Agility Ladder Drills
Here is the video with a few of the many agility ladder drills that I love using in my coaching work with athletes.
Before starting with more complex agility ladder drills, I always first work on some of the more simple options with my athletes.
Agility ladder drills require you to focus and concentrate, and among many other amazing things, they are really good for connecting your brain to your body!
When you add a “cognitive” aspect to the agility ladder drills, you get a great brain training which is useful in every sport for improving your performance on so many different levels!
Those of you who know me and my coaching work, you know that I love using agility ladder drills in my work, and I especially like using something that I call “cognitive agility ladder drills”, which simply explained means performing the agility ladder drills with addition of cognitive tasks, and combining different movement options with arms and feet. 🙂
