“During the Camp I learned new techniques that I can use in matches and exercise in trainings. The Camp was a great way to meet other Goalies and to do what I love with people who have the same passion for handball. It was nice to exercise with motivated people and enthusiastic trainer.”

“I warmly recommend Goalie Camp for all junior league goalies. Keep up the good work Vanja!”

“Goalie Camp – fun and and instructive training for goalies. Goalie camp was really fun and I learned many new things. The trainings were different from what we in Finland are used to do but it’s only good thing to learn different things from different angles. Our trainer, Vanja Radic, showed us goalie physics and different positions. The teaching was good and Vanja was really open minded for every suggestion and she listened if we had anything to ask or if we had some injuries or something else. I recommend this camp for those who are willing to progress as goalkeepers.”

“There is a clear need for special goalkeeper trainings for junior players in Finland. I have seen an increased motivation of young goalies when they are able to train together with other goalies and do for them tailor made exercises. My daughter was very pleased on the camp. She learned different styles to choose the best for her and got clear instructions how to improve in her technique. I look forward to see more these kind of camps for goalies. Thank you Vanja, you have done a great job in arranging the first camp in Turku.”

“I had an awesome time at the goalie camp and I haven’t probably learned that much in my whole handball career as I learned that weekend. The training was great! The tempo was good and we were warm all the time. We learned a lot of movements that’s good for a goalkeeper and a lot of exercises that you can do on your own. It was fun and rough at the same time. Not that rough though but i was at least sweaty after every training. And I had pain in my muscles still one week after the camp! I hope that there will be many more Goalie camp organised because I learned so much stuff. Hopefully you will continue as the goalie-coach because you were happy and funny but at the same time critical and you told everyone what to do better.”

“The Goalie Camp Turku was a very good and highly educational camp in my opinion. The lessons and training sessions were very good; we did all kinds of exercises and Vanja explained us how to do different kinds of saves. The only part, what I was a little surprised of, was that we didn’t have any kind of exercises where someone would be shooting balls and someone else in the goal saving them. That was a small minus but nevertheless the camp was still very successful. We had long breaks between the exercises and the accommodation was good. And it was a nice plus, that we could go eating anywhere we want in the evening! And of course, Vanja was an excellent coach (-:
If there would be another camp like this, I would definitely recommend it to other goalies and of course I would go there myself!”
